Shipping Terms

In-stock items:

North American orders will be shipped within 2 business days of order placement- please note this when choosing a shipping method. International orders will ship within 3 business days of order placement.

Pre-order items:

All pre-order items will ship on or before the in-stock date indicated at the time of purchase. For questions regarding pre-order items or to check the status of your order, please contact info@shelter-bay.ca.

All orders ship from Ontario, Canada.

Duties & Taxes

Duties are included for all orders within North America. U.S. customers are responsible for their own local sales tax, if applicable. Canadian customers will have 5% GST added to their order. Ontario customers will have 8% PST added to their order. Customers from all other provinces are responsible for their own local sales tax, if applicable.

Duties & Taxes – International (Outside North America)

Foreign customers will not have Canadian sales tax added to their order, however they will be responsible for all import duties and taxes levied by their respective countries.

Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars. U.S. and overseas customers will be charged in Canadian funds.

Return Policy

Regular priced items that are in unused condition and original packaging will be accepted within 14 days for a refund or exchange less shipping charges, as long as accompanied by original receipt. Items damaged in shipping must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Email us at info@shelter-bay.ca with the reason for your return, and we will send you a return authorization number and instructions. Package must be traceable and must require a signature upon delivery (e.g. Fedex, UPS, registered mail).

We cannot refund original shipping and handling charges, so additional shipping charges will apply in the event of an exchange. We cannot accept returns for items purchased at other locations other than this site, for example those purchased at a retail store. If a return is requested after 14 days of purchase, a credit will be issued for the value of the item, minus the shipping and handling charges.

There is no refund or exchange on sale items.

Color accuracy

Please note that there may be slight differences in color due to variations in monitors, printers and software. We have done our best to ensure that what is viewed on-screen is an accurate representation of the actual product.

Privacy policy

We use personal information collected from you only to fulfill orders that you have requested. We do no share or sell your personal information to third parties, nor do we use it to alert you to new products or events unless you specifically sign up on our mailing list.
